Somewhere in every organization exists a mysterious digital realm known as:

The Problem Report System.

Something breaks.

You document it.

You take a picture.

You explain exactly what's wrong.

You hit submit.

The system gives you a ticket number.

And then...

Nobody knows.

Where does it go?

Is someone reviewing it?

Is there a department responsible for fixing it?

Is the ticket quietly waiting for a small team of maintenance gremlins to emerge after midnight with a toolbox and make everything better?

Because from the front line, the process can occasionally feel remarkably similar to throwing a note into a well.

“Another Problem Report” is about the strange cycle of documenting the same equipment and vehicle problems over and over while somehow continuing to work around them.

The door rattles.

The A/C doesn't work.

The cabinet won't stay closed.

Something on the dashboard has been glowing since approximately the invention of the dashboard.

Everybody knows.

Everybody has reported it.

But don't worry. There's a ticket.

Eventually the problem gets bad enough that something actually stops working, and everyone gathers around with the shocked expression of people who could never have predicted this completely documented series of events.

Then somebody asks the most important question:

“Did anyone submit a problem report?”

Yes.

Several, actually.

Until the maintenance gremlins arrive, we'll apparently continue operating on the unofficial emergency-services repair standard:
